Printing in PLA

Post by jon bondy »

I want to start printing using PLA and Repetier Host (and Slic3r). Has anyone already dialed this in on the Rostock Max?

Can't think of anyone. Just set the bed to 60 or 65 and hotend to 200 and give it a go.

I use 45-55 on the bed (for small and large footprint parts, respectively) and 205 on the extruder. Pretty standard settings for what I've seen recommended for PLA.

Here's everything you'd want to know about printing in PLA, and more.
