Walleye Fishing

Post by foshon »

Ok, the boy and I are going fishing tomorrow. We are going to a local reservoir that is fairly well known for its Walleye fishing. Any tips?

A bucket of water (or simply a coffee cup with ice cube chips & water) is a WONDERFUL alarm lock...just sayin'. :D

No we did not, the boats were all rented out. We tried to fish off the shore but the bottom of the reservoir is covered in large rocks. Every other cast it seemed one of us lost a lure. We marked it as a learning experience and went to Cracker Barrel for breakfast.

Sorry I read this late Fos. We use Erie Dearies on lake Erie for Walleye. They work great but Iv'e caught them in the river on just about anything.
Hope you had a good 4th. Did you see that Makerbot quit making the 2X? I wonder if that has anything to do with the acquisition.

Thanks for the advice! Are you close to Erie, we just got back from Sandusky. Not sure about MKRBOT, 2X is the replicator no?
