Enclosure Build

Post by amcutem »

Finally, an enclosure for my Rostock Max V2.

My printer is ready for more work and sweat.

If it works... I like it!
Great challenge to leave a print and never look inside till the end.

Not exactly a novel or beautiful approach, but there is elegance in simplicity. That said, I think I'm going to stick with polycarbonate personally.

If it looks silly and it works, it's not silly. :)

Hey, some of the original enclosures were simple things like garbage bags or the original shipping box. They worked too.

nothing sexier than a burlap sack... I tell that too my dates all the time...

my only concern would be what it looks like on fire. I was wondering what the point is which bulap goes tits up in a ball of flame... but 110c on the bed and 228c on the nozzle would make me a bit nervous.

I think they're way ahead of you. There's a BIC lighter at the bottom of that picture, just in case things don't get hot enough on their own?
