Hi good people,

I don't think i am allowed to post a picture of my machine here. After all it is not a Rostock. Not even a honorary one.
Besides, I don't think anybody wants to see the mess I made of mine. Development printer and all that.

I am thinking about adding another small printer, but that is some time away.

If you can talk about it, you can show it :) Share!

There's no reason not to share other machines, that's completely welcome.

I think the development machines are honestly the most interesting. You get to see what others are working on, and they are usually unique, with an interesting collection of planned modifications, bodges, and features, most of them done in their own way. And it doesn't matter if it's a Rostock or a delta. We see other things like mostly printed CNC's or laser cutters all the time.

Obviously Lykle has some experience on less openminded community forums ;-)

Nice one DeltaCon! Oh man, you have no idea! Oh wait, you probably do.

Anyway, here is a quick photo. It is already dark here so I had to use a flash.

All the wires are lose, as I keep changing stuff and trying different hot ends etc.

Currently printing another Benchy, testing out some new filament with the latest breech block.
Using an effector I printed today, half way done. It will have an air hose and ring and that ring will also hold a halo ring with leds.
The only issue I have with that arrangement is that the led ring is too low and there will be a lot of strange shadows. Not to be helped.

The main use of the printer is still testing the Nimble, with new filaments, or tweaking the design. For instance, now I am adjusting the design because we are probably not going to be able to product the units with injection molding, but with SLS. That requires a little tweaking of the shapes.

The window in the back is where my workshop is. Those photo's will have to wait. Since the development storm here, that is a no-go area till I clean and tidy it up. As luck would have it, it just happens to be the biggest room in the house. I wonder how that came about.

Nice. What kind of corner pieces do you use there. Looks like cast aluminium, but seems a little thin for that.

I'm curious about that "thing" on the wall on the right side!

It looks like you are using a Duet?

That printer is a revised BI V2.5 from Boots Ind. I have one of those that is need of some revising to get it working again.

Correct, it is in bare bones a BI. They did have nice corners. Basically, the only thing that was really nice.
Yes I am using a DuetWifi with Paneldue, but I will need to print a proper housing for it. This is just a quick little holder, not nearly good enough.

The wall? Yes, it is a accurate scale drawing of the Mercedes used by Hamilton to win the world championship in 2015.

All my little projects?
Who has the time? At the moment I don't have time for all my little projects, as I have one big project. The Zesty Nimble. Setting up the company and the webshop is all consuming these days. Hence my lateness in replying, my apologies.

I have been doing a few projects that are on the back burner for now. The Swift Flyer http://lykle.tumblr.com/ is the one I miss the most at the moment. Other things are a better mount for my indexing table on the mill, a combination of aluminium and wood candle holder and the Danger Toys. http://danger-toys.com/

The one completed project (pun intended) is the One. https://youtu.be/tXpklnY36w0

More later, this is all I have time for now.
