Aluminium delta

Post by mikesbikebmc »

Hi there I am new to this forum and have just completed an alloy delta. Just got it going a few days ago and ironing out the bugs. Used the rostock settings on here for printing pla and the first prints where very good. Used the new repetier firmware with the wizard which set it up very well just a few minor adjustments to fully callibrate it.

A very good job in building this cool machine.
You must have hundreds of hours in a build that looks as good as this one and it had to be worth it.
Excellent work and thanks for sharing the pictures with us.

Really cool. Looks like you've got one hell of a build height.

I actually brought the cad files for the V2 to a metal shop and was hoping to get the whole frame laser cut out of aluminum. The cost of the metal wasn't bad, but the cost of the laser cutting was high enough that I could have bought a new printer.
