Here are a couple of pics of my V2, my first 3d printer.
some mods from original kit.
-Mag arm upgrade
-enclosure to control heat and keep dust out ( lives in the shop )
-Extra fan to ventilate electronics enclosure
-Enclosure for filament with desiccant packs
-Heat sink and fan on extruder motor ( found it was getting real warm when doing lots of retracts )

What is the insert in your spool?
When on mobile I am brief and may be perceived as an arsl.
