For the most part my prints are coming out well, but i am having problems recently regarding supports. They are coming out like a tangled mess, mainly on fine printed layers of .100 mm. Any ideas what could be causing this and what I should change setting wise. I know i have some retraction issues to work out still. Could that be the problem.
Here are my settings: (Using Matter Control)
Layer Height: .1 mm
First Layer: .3
Perimeters: 5
Top & Bottom Layers: 5
Infill: 30%
Speed 30 mm/s
Support Type: Lines
Amount: 45 Degrees
Pattern Spacing: 2.5 mm
Interface Layers: 0
x & Y Distance: 1 mm
z gap: 1 layer
Support Material extrusion .6

It looks to me like your Z zero point is off a bit. The first layers shouldn't have that big of a gap between filament tracks. The support may not be sticking to the bed.

Along with what Gene said, it also looks like your extrusion percentage for supports is at 60% (or .6) which could potentially be under-extrusion for your supports, but that's really just a guess.
If at first you don't succeed, you're doing something wrong. Try again, and if it fails again, try once more. Through trial and error, one can be the first to accomplish something great.

I appreciate the help guys. Gene... do you think it needs to be adjusted lower or higher? I calibrated it using a feeler gauge to the same specs that SeeMeCNC does their Orion machines at factory. With that being said, seeing as it is still by feel it could be off. I am also using a Buildtak surface and re-calibrated it after putting it on, so I initially thought it may be that the Buildtak doesn't let first layer smoosh quite as easily as the glass bed does.

Ok thanks. I will recalibrate it again. it is probably my horizontal radius setting so i will adjust everything again and see if that fixes it.

Ok my bad. I was thinking backwards... but if I adjust my Zero point then I will also have to adjust my horizontal radius after, correct?

Nope. The z zero point basically tells the machine that when it hits the end stop switches, it's exactly nnn.nn from the surface of the bed.
