If you are ex-military, you can get a copy of SOLIDWORKS student for $20! It's available on their web site.
Just thought I'd share the info for those who didn't know. I sent them a copy of my DD-214 and the application, and they sent me a link to buy it.

Thanks for sharing the tip! I served in the military in the 70's for 6 years, we will see if that works.

fyi dd-214 has your ssn, dob, mailing address, spouse info, and other shit that is none of peoples business on it......other proof like from the VA would be a better means of verifacation

That is a good point that I did not think of. I'll contact them and see if there is another form of proof of military service that they will accept. Thanks!

I often wondered what the word redact meant, now that I was forced to look it up I finally understand.

Yet this program is available to US and Canadian ex-Military ONLY.

Maybe their French and/or German and/or Italian and/or ...web sites offer similar programs ?
