G code increase speed for layer. ( S3D, Marlin )

Post by MorganTH »

Hi guys !

So after some tries with differents slicer, I let Kisslicer down for a while and tried to slice with Simplify3D.
But I'm missing an option. On Kisslicer, we can print the first layer at a certain speed, then increase by X every layer until reach the needed speed.
Unfortunately, I didn't found in the G-Code which command do this job.

Is it a way to give some orders to our slicer with " IF " function ?
Is there something to do with the M220 one ?

I know the solution to create a lot of process but if i want to go increse by 5 mm/s each time, this will do a lot of process.

Sorry for my english and have a nice day

Morgan.

It has a first layer speed option, also solid layer speed options.

If you were dead set on it and wanted to use S3D for it, you could create multiple operations that start and finish at layer heights that do it too.

Yes I realised that it was quicker to create 5 profile and increase the speed for each layers than doing a more complex operations.

Thanks for the help.
