Calibration Tower Probe Crash

Post by mwbinger »

When I run G29 to calibrate my max v2 with upgraded HE280 the probe works fine for the x and y towers but then crashes into the bed when it probes the z tower. I had this issue before with the x tower but it would go away after the calibration continued and the probe sensitivity was increased. Any idea as to why this is happening and how to correct it? I have seen some similar issues on the forum but haven't found a solution that works for me. Thanks

What version of the firmware (what date, actually) are you running? If you're not running the latest, I'd clear the EEProm and update before anything else. Assuming that doesn't fix it or you're already on the latest version, can you post the log from the terminal when it's doing this?
