Hi,

Anyone tried Polysmooth (PVB) filament on a Rostock Max ?

Thanks for sharing, as soon as we are ready to print, I will order it.

Not me, sorry.
If you do buy it share with us how it prints.

Good luck with your build!

Yep,

I will receive it soon. If I am lucky to print part correctly, I will purchase the Polymaker Polysher to do the post-production too.

Hope to share something soon.

Regards,
Ben

I've been printing Polysmooth on the Eris and it's pretty impressive. I also bought the Polysher and have some great results on smoothing.

I've been printing at 190 degrees and 3.5mm retraction.

The Polysher seems a bit finicky BUT if you join the Polymaker group on Facebook a few people have been coming with better filters for the Polysher. One guy has been making filters for it out of Mr Clean Magic Erasers and it fills the chamber up much better than the stock filter. I haven't tried it yet, but plan to.

I find it nice not having to deal with ABS and acetone!
