A silly question is the one that is not asked

Post by carlsgems »

I have gotten the Droplit going and have been able to manual control in Gcode sender and in creation workshop, The question is a directional one, when controlling the Z axis for calibrating etc the control arrows are reversed Plus Z goes down Minus Z goes up, is the correct for a bottom up printer like the droplit? Not sure on this, wiring is correct per build manual or do I switch something in config? Thanks in advance for correct solution.

You can edit the firmware or reverse the stepper wires. If your stepper moves twice the distance it should, pull the jumper on the board to enable microstepping.

Thanks, I was able to switch the signal wires with success and pulled the jumper and tested distance control with micrometer. Now have coated resin dish with slyguard 184 and curing. Now to calibrate the projector and hope to get test printing after dish has cured.
