Nozzle thermistor failed

Post by ivanhandler »

I can no longer get a temperature reading from the Eris. I cleared a jam out of my extruder and then the thermistor stopped working at the beginning of a print. No idea of what happened. Any ideas on how to fix this without buying a new hotend??

Just buy a new thermistor from their website. Keep track of your dissasembly, and if you have good soldering skills, you will be fine.

Can you or anyone tell me where and how I need to install it? Thanks

This link is for building the big HE280, but the Eris hotend is very similar. https://seemecnc.dozuki.com/Guide/HE280+Assembly/45
Step 26 is the start of the thermistor installation.
