What happened??

Post by ivanhandler »

I am enclosing a photo of a print that dies a mysterious death. It started just fine, good adhesion. It was doing fine for over an hour so I worked in another part of my home for a few hours and came back to this. This has happened consistently for the last few times I have tried to print. It looks like the temperature may be changing or something back and forth. You can see lots of bad sections then some good ones. Any insight as to what is going wrong and what I can do to fix it? Thanks much.

Every time it starts building the part in a different plane, it's losing track of where it is. This can happen if a belt or gear slips or if the nozzle catches on something and causes a motor to skip.
