Coronavirus 3D printed ventilator - no electronics/no moving parts
I have been working with a design team to create (yet another) ventilator. The difference with this ventilator to the many over there is that is based on fluid dynamics and uses no electronics, no moving parts, just plastic (and Oxigen, hoses, and valves of course :-) ) Currently, we have two ...

Re: Where is the 3DP community's coronavirus response?
Guys, this is a way to help. Probably you are aware of “Helpful Engineering” (https://www.helpfulengineering.org/), which is a group of volunteers with diverse backgrounds helping with the response in shortage of supplies during this crisis. While there is the usual bunch of project that seems to be ...

Re: DropLit V2
Mystery Solved!! I was about to open a support ticket, so I went to see my order ... and turned out that, at the same time I ordered the DropLit V2, I bought a Power Supply upgrade to my Rostock V2!. I don't know why they put the power supply inside the box of the DropLit Kit, but well, now I know ...

Re: DropLit V2
The manual(s) in the link provided are indeed the instructions we followed one by one, there is one section for carriage, another for Vat, Mirror Mount, and Frame. We went through each one of them. There is nothing regarding the power supply...and I cannot find a single picture of a finished V2 ...

Here it is, as well the side panel and a bag with bolts, cables, fan, switch, and outlet. Like if it has to be mounted somewhere.

Re: Where is the 3DP community's coronavirus response?
I was thinking why not an opensource respirator design? ... then I found hackaday created a post to run a medical hackathon on March 12, but it seems to me that there are only good ideas but no action there. The interesting news is that there is a challenge from the Montreal General Hospital to ...

Re: DropLit V2
Thanks, Geneb! I think it is external too, but what puzzles me is that 1) it comes with parts as if it were to be mounted (e.g. fans, side panel, switch, etc). and 2) there are no instructions on how to put everything together (e.g. make the connections and so). Thanks again for chiming in (and so ...

DropLit V2
Hey guys, my teenage son was given the task (by me!) to build a forgotten DropLit V2 Kit I had in the attic (yeah, retro time!) So, everything is done, but the power source. I just couldn't find any guide on where to place it! I mean, the kit comes with the power sorce and fans and a single ...

I’m still using my PEI(s) after hundreds of print, most of the time, successfully and the 3M adhesive has been sticking there with no issue.

Re: Rostock MAX v3.2 reviews
I think I can add my two cents here. I bought my first 3D printer 6 years ago from seemeCNC, a rostock Max (I think it was V0.001 LOL). It was acrylic cut and was HARD FUN to assemble, configure and make it work. However, once tuned, it produced really nice prints. But from now and then you have to ...

Re: 2 INTO 1 DUAL FILAMENT FEED ADAPTER COMPLETE KIT
Just wondering where in the firmware there is a way to disable the automated filament change in order to use S3D's build in change. Most probably you already resolved this issue, but for the sake of having it documented, I will write down what I found. For DuetWifi, as far as I know, the behavior ...

I am not getting 'blobs everywhere' in my prints with S3D. Yes, they're working fine in my Artemis. My mistake was to think that the Delta Radius and Printable Radius cloneit3d mentioned were for Artemis, while he was talking about a V3.2.

Re: Artemis + Y-Adapter + Simplify3D
Ok, I got a first working version profile for Simplify3D (S3D). You can find it attached to this post. I'm trying to replicate the same logic used in CURA by using the "Tool Change Script" and "Starting Script". It is a first working draft of a work in progress, so take it with a grain of salt. Two ...
