Thanks Gene! All these g-codes are like learning a new language. I actually hand jammed them into the eeprom through the config and they seemed to take but I've written that one down in my list of important commands.

Learned more in two days that in the previous 6 months tuning... what fun!

Top plate was on and it probably was calibrated when it was shipped, but it also arrived with a hole in the side. Apparently it took a pretty big hit on the trip since there was a hole in the side and the inner fiberboard protection was cracked all the way through. Looks like somebody nicked it with ...

Done and very helpful! Thanks. I got moving in the right direction. The print bed is now much more level and the first layer is going down well. The Orion is really nice out of the box, but I really wish there were more... well any really... documentation on how to operate the thing. I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to calibrate the thing.
