Same problem here- brand new Max V2 with Onyx V3, can't get to 90 degrees on the bed. Extruder hits 225 fast. My kit only came with 5 feet of 18/4, so I had used some spare 16 gauge to go from the Rambo to the Onyx. I've since doubled that up (so 2x 16 gauge) but still no go. Without a towel it ...

Did you have to enlarge the hole in the hot end to get the cartridge heater to fit? What did you do with the other hole?
