Hello - I have a Rostock Max V2- When I have prints that run for several hours I find that 2 of the 3 axles on the hot end creep out until the clip falls off. Is there any way to adjust the axle to prevent this?

I would like to do this mod to get higher heat out of my onyx bed. Is there a wiriing diagram for the SSR and The Meanwell Power supply hook ups? They are mentioned in many threads, but it is not obvious to me on how to put them in. (Chemical Engineer)

sounds like a loose connection in the stepper motor plug, sometimes the individual pins in the black 4 conductor plug that plugs into Rambo can be loose or only partially plugged in. check that all 4 pins a seated down into plug and the plug in all the way down onto board. I printed a couple of parts but the Extruder stepper is stuttering again. With or with out filament. A friend mentioned turning up the 'gain' on the stepper - anyone know how try that?

Turned everything off. Came back an hour later and it is working. On to printing my peek fan shroud

At this step of the process when I click "forward" extrude button the stepper clicks back and forth about 1/2 of the width of a tooth on the knob for approximately 5 seconds. My RAMbo LCD interface board is on order (original missing from kit). Is it possible to set the Zheight with out the LCD? I am able to tune the extruder and hot bed PIDs from the Repetier-Host -

the 6 small pin connectors are in the box but not the board itself. can this be purchased at a electronics store? or should i contact support??

i found the manual you mention above. looks like I need to resolder my thermistor. I'm back on track though.

the small pads on left are for the LED, I'm just not sure which side of the LED goes to which pad also I have no idea where to put the resister.

I am building to the manual on download page " Rostock MAX v2 (kits shipped AFTER appx. 2/22/2014)" is this the correct one?

i will upload a pic in a moment.

the pics show how / where to solder the resister and LED but my solder pads are different. anyone have this happen?
