I am sure the I2C buss is working now and the terminal screens are correct now. Some observations; The occasional garbage I get started when I started using the I2C buss. I just completed the v2 to v3 upgrade with the HE280.I had the same issue too. I fixed it by manually setting the Z height to old way. The printer thinks the bed is lower so the head crashes. G29 worked after that.
