Overhanging Perimeters edges warp upward
ok, I will attach a pic to help but let me try and describe my issue first. when printing something like say a pyramid, I have no problems. If I were to print that same pyramid upside down ( i know that would be stupid but imagine it for a moment ) each layers outer most path hangs half on the ...

Re: Automatic Nozzle Wiper
No worries my friend, when I finally got it all working I was so excited to post in on here that I just threw it up without all the details and maybe next time I will calm myself down and write up a full post! I just wish I had done this with a mech that I had ordered so that I could share it easier.

Re: Automatic Nozzle Wiper
That would probably do it, it looks very similar to the one I used. Unfortunately the one I did use came out of a plane that was wrecked and given to me by a friend a while back and so I don't really have a way of figuring out what specific model it is. The key thing that you are looking for is that ...

Automatic Nozzle Wiper
I was tired of waiting for my printer to heat up to wipe off the excess filament before it started printing. So after much work and frustration along with some help from SEEMECNC and Repetier I finally have it working. http://youtu.be/y3l7kjuVhro I used the Rambo board to control an RC landing gear ...

Re: New Heat Spreader
I ordered the copper plate from amazon, cut it down and machine turned it to make it look better ( it was quite scratched right out of the box ). It was really easy to re calibrate, just a matter of adjusting the z height and rechecking each tower but none of the tower end stops needed adjusting as ...

Re: Power supply fail?
has anyone tried adding a resistor between one of the red 5v lines and ground to put a load on the 5v rail? If you google " convert an ATX power supply for bench use" there are pleanty of articles showing how to make the ATX provide constant power. ALL of them I have found say that you have to have ...

Re: New V2 Randomly powers off…help?
My printer is in the Garage and its hot here, gets up to 95 in my garage so I need extra cooling. I designed new side panels that going to have 80mm fans mounted to them on the inside, the first one is actually printing as we speak. I thought about just drilling out the melamine panels to ...

Re: New V2 Randomly powers off…help?
I had this same issue of it just shutting down, ended up removing all the acrylic panels from the bottom and put a fan behind the power supply to pull more air through and have not had it shut off since. Dissapointing that I had to do this as it doesnt look as cool without the covers and with a ...

Re: Rambo and/or EZstruder stepper overheating?
So I just built my Rostock Max V2 and printed the PEEK fan shroud and the layer fan shroud out of ABS with little to no issues. When I put the PLA in to try and print with that it kept getting all jammed up inside of the ezstruder housing. When I go to touch the stepper driving the ezstruder it is ...
