Using the current firmware...
I have been using this version, G29 and the plugin for three days now. It is working really well for me. Reporting 0.03 or 0.02 after the G29 and Delta autocalibration runs. I am getting excellent first layers. Consistent results. Thank you. Thank you all.

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
Again, thanks for the guidance. I checked for level and square and thought I was on to something but the minor adjustment made no difference. I adjusted the XYZ endstop offsets to zero via the endstop screws. Still dragging between the Z and X towers. Can I switch off the auto-leveling and print ...

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
Thank you for the reply. I know SeeMe will fix these issues. The v2 and v3 are terrific machines. And I understand the design of the base and bed. Without the current issues I wouldn't have looked at the bed support. Because you can't have enough information(or can you)... After 'firming up' the bed ...

This is exactly the problem I'm seeing. I'm really looking forward to a solution.

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
Am I to understand this issue is closed? My MAXv3 isn't working as advertised. I've spent many hours trying many things with no positive results. I can run the v3probe gcode many times with no level results. I found that the top of the base assembly, the piece with the big hole in it, didn't evenly ...

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration
I'm having similar problems with auto-leveling. I started a different thread that morphed into this one. The last thing I did was install ferrite beads. I'd done everything else. I was away for a week and was happy to see all the activity here. I installed the DEV firmware, 20161121 and see an ...

Re: The v3 extruder stopped working
Seems to stay on X. This is what I've been doing to test the levelness of the bed after running the v3probing script. I set the debugging switch, Dry Run = On. I print a 200mm diameter ring. It is 10mm wide. As the hot end comes down to the bed I hold a piece of paper under the nozzle. As the ...

Re: The v3 extruder stopped working
OK all, this is where I am. I changed the X tower endstop switch. This produced a small change. The stutter still exists. However, the X tower endstop screw stops in a very similar position to the Y and Z endstop screws. The stutter still exists. I run the auto-leveling gcode and results are as ...

Re: The v3 extruder stopped working
... long story short, I unscrewed the X tower endstop screw enough that the stutter is diminished to almost gone. I ran auto-level several times. I printed a 100mm disk. See results below. I've attached the log of the auto-level if that helps. I know something is eschew. The towers are all the same ...

Re: The v3 extruder stopped working
Thanks for the guidance. I've run the probing gcode 5 times and the stutter persists. I'll put a video of my v3 running the script up tomorrow. The only other thing I can think of is the speed of the home after the first endstop touch. Seems faster than my v2. Hey, I'm almost at my wits end ...

Re: The v3 extruder stopped working
Figuring that the problem I'm seeing is self-inflicted, I've been troubleshooting on my own for a while. I'm stuck. This is what I've done. Based on what moo7777 described, I set about un-bundling and un-neatening all my wires. I've separated all endstop, stepper and power wires. I've rerouted to ...

Re: The v3 extruder stopped working
The support here is wonderful. Yes, there is some jitter/jutter/shutter. Different from my MAXv2.
We are expecting house guests in a couple of hours for the weekend. I won't be able to get back to this until Monday. Ugh.
So much to print, so little time.

Re: The v3 extruder stopped working
Happily the extruder works just fine. Minimum 150, check. Thank you both. Any wisdom for the other things I see? 1. There is a AutoLevel Active (1/0) switch in the EEPROM configuration shown in R-H. Mine is set to zero(0). I've had inconsistent results with the autoleveling feature. It seemed to ...

Re: The v3 extruder stopped working
I did not know that the hot end must be hot to run the extruder. I'll try that. Sounds like that is my problem with the extruder. Explains why there were times it worked, loading filament, and times it didn't. How hot does it have to be? Any minimum? And, yes, I powered down, counted to five ...

The v3 extruder stopped working
The v3 extruder stopped working. I'm not sure exactly why. I feel it isn't a hard failure. I was printing and thought I was over extruding. Since most prints looked good, I hadn't calibrated the extruder. I never checked to see if when asked to extrude 100mm of filament if in fact it did extrude ...

My EEPROM configuration, without my permission, vanished!?
I've been happily printing for a few days now. Using the printer as intended, to design and create parts for my product ideas and designs. Great. Today I made some improvements. I'll report on lessons learned in a few days, but, my EEPROM configuration changed while working on the machine. I took ...

Re: Trouble setting the end stops on my Rostock MAX v2
Last night I printed my PEEK Fan Shroud. Changing the Y tower stepper pulley wasn't too bad really. I did have to modify a screw driver with a long thin shaft to fit the stepper motor mounting screw that was 'almost' unreachable. Once replaced, my MAX v2 worked as expected. After calibration, my ...

Re: Trouble setting the end stops on my Rostock MAX v2
Also, I don't understand what I saw. If the X and Z motors have 20 teeth pulleys, doesn't mean that those Skates would move further than than the Y Skate per motor revolution? What I saw was the Y Skate moving further than the X and Z Skates. Looking at the Z tower, the nozzle was too far to the ...
