Its difficult to see into the machine when assembled. I will change it to 15 and see how it goes. I bought the machine a few months after comming back from the makers faire in NYC in 2012.
Thanks

Re: Z height crash
Thanks Cope413, I counted the pulley teeth and changed it to 16 from 20 in the Config.h file, and it seems to be traversing to the correct location. Any other settings different from the old version to new? I have the Square heat bed instead of the new one so i suppose that will throw things off as ...

Z height crash
I am setting up the new LCD display and recalibrating the software, so In general I'm starting over with the software install. My machine is about 1 1/2 years old and did not come originally with the LCD. It seems to be fine and powers up and displays information. I am at the point where the manual ...

Re: LCD Installation Guide
Version 1.1 of the guide is posted (same link as above) and I've verified the wiring instructions are correct. I may not have seated the connectors fully as it's working great now. Go figure. :) g. Have not tried the wiring yet, but this guide is so much clearer to understand. THANK YOU! Your hard ...

Re: Installing LCD wiring on RAMBO board
Yes, I've seen both. The board shipped with an additional connector/board that plugs into the Two cables, but in no way can plug into the Rambo board. I am new to this and have never seen the ramps board but maybe that is it. I don't want to do surgery on the cables without knowing where the wires ...

Installing LCD wiring on RAMBO board
I purchased the LCD display and recieved it yesterday. The installation instructions online are for what I assume is an older iteration of the display. Since the one I just recieved has no connectors that look like the connectors on the Rambo board, could someone please post pictures or a clear ...

Re: Rostock is working
Times have changed a great deal for Cnc and rp in the past 20 years. When I first got interested it was pretty tough to piece together and make the parts for a Cnc machine. Now there is tons of cool stuff out there! You should see the kids when the Rostock started moving. Awesome!

Rostock is working
Hello! I'm Matt Slauson, The Excitement I felt when I build my first CNC machine is back!!!! I saw the new Rostock machine at the NYC makers faire and thought it was the coolest and most affordable kit at the Faire. Since I lived in Elkhart at one time of my life I could appreciate the story the ...

Re: Got any pointers on the Bowden Extruder?
I read through the posts and did not see the answer to the original very first post. I am going through the calibration for the hot end on my Rostockand got a similar error message at the end of the process. I am trying it again as I type this. Edit... Just finished. Same error message again. AFAIK ...
