Given the surgery you are going to have to perform, a threaded thermistor would be a good upgrade.

They are fairly simple to make if you have patience working with small parts. If not there are a few sources available around the web.

It just requires tapping the thermistor hole.

What kind of plastic are you using for the followers? I was considering printing some mags and stuff a while ago, but i don't have an ar-15... Any problems with cracking, delaminating, ect? I've made magazines in ABS, PLA, Nylon, and PET. The best followers I've had to date were the PLA. Best ...

This could be a cracked trace in the board shorting to the ground plane.

You could check it with a volt meter as it is, then torque it back down and see if a short is created.

With previous hotends, I picked up some blood sugar testing needles to clear the clogs in a .2 and .4 mm nozzle. I'm going to need to pickup a larger gauge for the .5 mm nozzle on my shiny new V2, but I have found them quite effective.

I installed this fan for my initial build based on a few of the posts recommending it. While I cannot confirm nor deny it's improvement over the original, I can say that it is a very quiet fan.

Everything I can find is tight, I loctited them down during the build with perminent.
