Re: PEI Print Surface How To - recap
Michael :) long time no talk haha.. anyway, i am finding more and more (after re ordering this adhesive 5-6 times) that i can not reliably get it off the sheet, or the tape (1") without massive bubbling or globbing. it always happens, without fail. Is there any tips you use? I can usually get a ...

Re: PEI print bed surface experiments
so that didnt work... im wondering if its this filament, because the other stuff i was using originally to test worked... would one PLA adhere that much better than another? i mean its a 25mm cube, not a big part... i guess ill test that next. Re: PEI print bed surface experiments
so im trying a new pad with the ISO... when i read the recent posts, i thought "ive been using the same paper towel for days" so its no mystery if that is the issue. so we will see. for ABS particularly, I could just sand down the glossy side and use my 2nd piece of glass for glossy PLA later.

Re: 3D Printed Fly Fishing Reel

I cleaned my stainless media, and thats all good. but now i have a film on the inside of the plastic drum... It has no markings to determine the type of plastic, so im not sure if i can use ...

by shot you are just meaning like shot for shotgun shells right? i use drywall nails in my tumbler, but im sick of that because i get a ton of black flecks invading my prints.

Did you ever finish your copperfil reel? or what were those rings you were printing out for? your reels are amazing.. i love the teal and clear one...

Re: 3D Printed Fly Fishing Reel
I would really love it if s3d had more infill options. its pretty contraining as is. i love some of the honeycomb looks etc.
I think s3d is amazing, compared to ALL other slicers out there.
I never mentioned it, but this print has had ZERO touch up. not one bit of sanding, or picking.

Re: Rostock Max V2 w/ Tricklaser etc for sale.
I havent inquired... If i need to ship it, i assume ill have to just take the axis arms down, then it should compress well enough to get in a decently large box
others have sold them on here before, so im sure they are shippable somehow

Re: Rostock Max V2 w/ Tricklaser etc for sale.
Looking at a lulzbot taz5. Im not upset with the rostocks volume at all, but the circular nature of the bed means I cant print these four rectangle parts that i need to. I can do 4x items on the taz with only slightly larger bed, because of the rectangle nature of it.
thanks
