I stand corrected
Did a simple test using my gas range. This digi cam has an IR pass filter that only sees IR -- no visible. These photos have been edited to make them easier to view. NIR (near infrared) cameras are not going to give you temperature data. That isn't even short wave IR. Thermal is medium to long wave IR. I have both. Check thingiverse for "BazBot" where i have posted thermal images of my delta. Those images are long wave IR. I have a NIR digital camera with an IR ...

I'm running the Titan extruder with a 0.9 degree pancake direct drive on my delta with no problems thus far. It has greatly improved my printing quality. I'll take pictures tomorrow.

You have been a help so far. I've already ordered all of the 1" aluminum extrusions! They are beefy. I think that would contribute very nicely to the rigidity of the printer.
