If you're using the premade wiring harness I recommend removing the wires from the clamping terminal on the top of the plug (The heater shouldn't be a problem, & it could be a pain to get them back in with any added mass) & either ferruling or tining the ends before reconnecting them to the plug. (I'm using a Rostock Max V2 w/stock extruder, fans & heat sinks on all 4 motors, & a Prometheus v2 hot end.) An all metal hotend takes more force to extrude than the default one, just because the filament is sliding along metal rather than teflon, regardless of how nicely polished that metal is. I ...
