Check out Arcus3d if you havent already. He uses a CMYK type system and a brushless motor powered mixing impeller. Pretty impressive.

Im running my cheap 350W 24V China PSU at 30.59V steady with the v adjustment pot up all the way. the steppers like it.

Hey to those who got crap results with their e3d v6 vs seemestock.... When I first installed my authentic v6, the included fan was majorly imbalanced and hence loud and producing tons of vibrations. I beleive I fixed this before stating printing with it so cant say if that was a real issue or not ...

Not exactly sure how to describe what my problem is, so I made a video. I was almost finished calibrating / adjusting endstops and HR after swapping to longer arms (~295.2 mm). The Z and Y macros were spot on and so was the X the first time I hit it, but after adjusting its endstop and hitting home ...

This was my first time tinkering with the firmware/config.h aside from changing the stepper current at the end of the build per the instructions.
