Re: Max V2 help with some basic settings....
I have always used Mattercontrol for all my printing/slicing and have never had a drama, I dont see why I should swap to CURA for slicing. I have tried using the SD card for printing, but my printer keeps turning itself on and off when the card is inserted.... I am yet to try some other cards as ...

Re: Max V2 help with some basic settings....
Off the top of my head 50mm/retraction speed.
Tonight I also just wanted to make sure that I was extruding the correct amount... So just using Mattercontrol I extruded 100mm 5 times and every time I got a different result.... by up to 40-50mm.
Just struggling with this one now...

Re: Max V2 help with some basic settings....
Lowered my temps to 175/180 and prints failed... So I think I should be pretty spot on around 185/190. Currently printing; -185 Degrees (Verbatim PLA) - 55 Bed temp - 300mm/s Non print move speed - Retraction at 3.5mm Stringing is still pretty bad. Seems like I keep adjusting retraction then I get ...

Re: Manual Extrude intermittent
Have you had any luck with this? I decided to fire my V2 back up after a while renovating the house. I upgraded Mattercontrol and the latest firmware for the V2 and I have intermittent extrude too.... You can use the termainal window and do a G1 E100 F1500 to extrude 100mm of filament and this works ...

Re: Just a vase, because I could...
Hi Eaglezsoar, I had only used the stock hot end prior to upgrading to the all metal hot end. I got similar results. Essentially I upgraded so I could crank the heat a bit with some different filaments. Plus the Prometheus gets a pretty good rap.... The only issue I had was with a faulty collet and ...

Re: Prometheus and 325mm CF arms
The horizontal radius does change each time you undertake the z calibration. As per the manual its advised to change that value buy 0.5mm up or down until you gain the correct height at the bed centre. I haven't even gotten to this stage yet as per my posts above. But yes I was wondering if this ...

Re: Prometheus and 325mm CF arms
I'm gathering the horizontal radius EEPROM input may have something to do with it? As that value is very close to my old setup with the old arms... I just made it 126 to see if it would have a difference. As per the manual if I want to lower the nozzle the increase the value, raise nozzle decrease ...

Re: Prometheus and 325mm CF arms
Changed the thermistor type in the firmware and re uploaded. I did the same and just changed the diagonal rod value to 325mm in EEPROM. The issue I'm having now is when I do the z height calibration I have my end stops maxed out to the bottom and the nozzle is still hitting the build plate ...

Prometheus and 325mm CF arms
Hi guys, Just made a few upgrades and I'd love a little clarification. I have installed a V2 Prometheus and the longer 325mm arms. Can anyone give me an idea of how to change the firmware settings for the thermistor and the 325mm arms? I have had a crack at it and I just want to make sure I have ...

Hi! Love the build! Where did your source the wiring protector that hangs down from your top plate into the build area... For the life of me I cant find anything like it and I want to find one.
Keep up the good work!
