I just picked up a mac to handle larger graphics works . I am running S3D and a Rostock max V2 . The problem I am experiencing is that when I start a usb print it will orint for maybe 10 seconds then stop ? I can hit pause and run and it print for a second more then stop and so on and so on . I switched over to a E3D hot end . The rostock one with my layer cooling would not stay close to set temp . Installed the E3D and wow what difference

I was thinking about buying one . But as was said above me this is so true . I am going to save up and get the good stuff on this so I never have to worry about performance . Great posts all

WOW that is cheap . I may order one . I want to do this but the electronics are out of my range unless someone has a set of instructions on what to do . Still might get one

Does anyone have a set of instruction on the software and changes need to make this work on the MAX V2 ? I would love to go to this but worried about doing it with out someone having done it and able to share what was done . Love this forum everyone is so nice

Used matter control to do my settings and then ran a print and slice with Simplify3d . IT printed great ! Thank you all for the help !

So will setting the horizontal eprom using lets say matter control . then will simplify3d see this setting and keep my calibration on track ? So to the other, will matter control work well with the simplify3d slicing ? I had a prusa I3x before I bought the Rostock . I wanted better slicing . I was ...

So I am having a difficult time finding the horizontal adjustment in the calibration settings . I have the x y and z position nozzle height good but can't find where I adjust the center height like it says in the rostock calibration instructions. Any help please .
