Re: Print Center is off
So I did some extensive searching and found this. This sucks.... but my problem is fixed :) For the 1.2.X branch of Slic3r, they completely changed the way the bed is defined. It now defines a series of coordinates that draw line segments to build the bed periphery. The one it will generate for a ...

Re: printer leveling
It really sounds like a firmware issue since you are able to actually print. It can be frustrating at times but I just take a step back and deal with any issues one day at a time!

Re: EzStruder Click sound!?
Wow the motor got so hot it melted the PLA inside of the struder.... Anyway to solve this in the future (I assume allow for a cooldown period)? Should I put a fan on the motor?

EzStruder Click sound!?
So I have been printing (finally!) and got through a 24 hour print with no problems what so ever. Now I started it up to print a 8 hour job and half way in (middle of the night) it started making a click sound at the ezstruder. Is my motor shot? I do not know what could be the cause. Going to pull ...

Re: Filament Issues
So I am trying to take the EZStruder apart... (This was not built by me) and the hobbed gear is not aligned properly as I feared. I am having an extremely tough time getting the stepper knob off this thing. It is like stuck on. Any thoughts?

Filament Issues
When it rains it pours :) So I went to put my filament (ABS or PLA) through the EZStruder and got it down through the tubing all the way down to the bowden on the extruder. When I click on extrude to push filament into the tip I cannot get the filament to move. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong ...

Re: Home Tower Error
Oh heck yes!
I was going to rip this thing apart and redo it all!!! The Y and Z were mixed up (labeled wrong!). I did not build this printer so that is why I keep having headaches. Tomorrow will be a good day
Thanks for the help thus far; I really do appreciate it.

Okay! Now we are going in the right direction.
Now it crashes into the end-stop switches! On the terminal they report H when pressed for each one. What would cause it to want to plow through the end stop?

Okay, I switched the connectors to the right way and now instead of the crashing into the Y axis column it goes in the opposite direction! SO! I went back into the firmware and changed the INVERT_Z_DIR back to true from false. Now when I home it moves towards the X column. Any thoughts? Maybe just a ...

Re: Home Tower Error
When I hit Home (G28) the Y goes up. Z and X do not move which has it crash into the Y column. When I had the INVERT_Y_DIR to false it would just crash down equally.

Yeah I M119 earlier in the steps and it was checking out alright!
Edit:
Just ran to the Terminal and did it again. Each stop displays the H (max) when I hold it in. Weird!

Home Tower Error
Hey guys,
I just got my Rostock V2 together and I am going to home the towers (had to invert my Z axis) and when I home the unit it crashes into the Y axis. Any thoughts on what is causing it? Did not mod anything in the config other then were I am at in the manual. Page 250...

Interested in a solution to this as well. I was thinking it could be something with the board?
