A good way to get a rough idea if your angle is off is an electronic angle indicator.
You don't have to buy one just download one for your smartphone.
It isn't 100% accurate but it will give a good indication if something is wrong.

You can see that the heat bed hasn't warmed all the way to the outer edges as the sheet isn't transparent yet.
I used a ruler to get it onto the bed without any air pockets.

If you try to get rid of the laminating sheet with a cold bed you are absolutely right but with a heated bed you can peel it off pretty easily.

Im not quite sure. Could be but I don't know what material they use for laminating. All I can say that it works like charm for me and it's really cheap.

Another cheap alternative is a laminating pouch. Just split it and apply it with a ruler (rough side facing down). Works well for me and you can use it a bunch of times! You need to heat your bed to get it oft again though.
