Re: Rostock Max V3 - requests, suggestions, etc.
A frame only kit (melamine and hardware, bearings belts carriages arms ect) would be a nice consideration for those who already have existing electronics from other printers, say someone upgrading from a reprap who already has a pile of motors and electronics on hand. or even a A-la-carte ordering ...

Re: Rostock Max V3 - requests, suggestions, etc.
Funny that this thread surfaced again... V3 has been officially rumored! New things like the injection molded carriages and the ball-joint arms are already here, and other upgrades are also being schemed about. I'm sure that Andy and JJ would appreciate a list of fresh suggestions. Its rumor is ...

Re: Rostock Max V3 - requests, suggestions, etc.
i"m always trying to reinvent the wheel, so i'm gona go ahead and spitball a few of my notions. which for the most part shouldn't significantly add to the current cost of the kit and may even save a few bucks or at the least give you a few more bullet points on the features list. - Indicator LED ...

Re: Kit Mods & Safety & Awesomeness
Would it be silly of me to suggest using a heating cartridge and the other hole in the stock hot end to house a thermal fuse and possibly the thermister aswell, or perhaps changing the hole for the thermister from the side of the heating block to the top of the heating block next to heat break ...

Re: DeltaPrintr review
If it were me, I'd try installing a tuning peg on the carriage. They're designed to tension a string, with far more precision than you need. Any good guitar store would have those parts for sale. Or ebay. I think that's probably the best idea posted yet, as somebody with virtually no familiarity ...

Re: DeltaPrintr review
I'm trying to envision in my head -( i couldn't see too well from your pictures or the website)- how the fishing line actually attaches to the carriages, (close up pictures would be appreciated if its not asking too much) but i'm wondering if perhaps some kind of turnbuckle that you could fasten to ...

Re: DeltaPrintr review
Hello I'm new to the forum, and well the concept of forums in general Anyways i think i've got an idea (provided you havn't torn the thing apart for spare parts) for a quick release for the carriage line, without having a good view of the carriage i can only make the suggestion, what if you affixed ...
