Issue with z height?
Hi, I have just started using my Eris. I have a Rostock V2 as well. After my first two prints (the calibration box and a small camera mount for a quadcopter) the Eris z height raised so the PLA barely lays down on the glass. I have run the calibration multiple times but it doesnt seem to help ...

Re: Can't get below 1mm wall thickness
I'm sorry as I assume you can tell, I'm a total newbie at this. What should I do with that file you posted? I'm printing in ABS if that helps.
Also, I set the infill to zero with no change.

Re: Can't get below 1mm wall thickness
edit: I know the Rostock with the .5mm nozzle can make single pass .5mm walls, because my support material is that thickness when I build something with an overhang.

Re: Can't get below 1mm wall thickness
There's gotta be a way to make a single pass wall, right? Im getting 2 passes on my vertical walls every time, even if I set the perimeter to 1 pass. The Nozzle is a .5mm, and youre saying I can't get under 1mm wall thickness with it? Your toothpaste analogy isnt what Im describing. I'm saying that ...

Ive set the perimeter to 1 and tested, changed to .5mm and also .55mm and tested. Im using a .5mm nozzle, so I changed the nozzle size to ...

Fighting nozzle gap at bed edges
Maybe that's not the most clear title? Allow me to explain. Newb to printing. I built the Rostock Max V2 as my 1st printer and Ive had great luck with it on small parts no wider than about 3" total. Now as I stretch her legs and try to print a quadcopter frame (or anything that fills the outer edges ...
