Re: Major curling and quality issues
I hit it heavily with 2k and it stuck beautifully! Only one print so far but it's working, so I'm happy. Must have been some excess oil from my hands on there the first time through. Lower the number the more coarse it is right? Just figured it was relatively course. 2k did the job though, and I ...

Re: Major curling and quality issues
Lol yes, it is removed and it was quite stealthy.. luckily the tape that was recommended didn't stick well to that plastic film.. I will give it a light sanding and see how she does. I assume you meant 1500+? As 150 is extremely rough.

Re: Major curling and quality issues
So I got the pei sheet and attached it and all is well with that. However... the ABS won't stick.. What am I doing wrong? Did I miss a step? I'm not sure what's going on with it. The filament just bunches up and sticks to the nozzle and never sticks. I re-calibrated my z height and made sure the x ...

Re: Major curling and quality issues
I will definitely check it out!
Wow, yeah that's not bad, I'm not sure what I was looking at but it was significantly more expensive than that. Thanks for the link and the recommendation, the new technique for hair spray didn't work..
Thanks again,
Dustin

Re: Major curling and quality issues
Thanks everyone for the knowledgeable replies! I've attempted a different strategy in applying the hairspray, testing currently. The hairspray I'm using is aqua net extra super hold, I was told it was very good stuff and works well for others. As for PEI, I've looked into it in the past and it ...

Major curling and quality issues
Hello everyone, I've owned this printer since October of last year and haven't gotten ~3 successful prints out of it. They were miracles honestly. I was getting major artifacts before and I finally fixed that with a bump in temperature, but now I'm getting curling like no other. It ruins the prints ...

Print Quality Issues
Hello everyone! So I got my romax 3 months or so ago and haven't been able to print anything out with it cause it always failed.. I finally fixed it recently, and now I get these strange artifacts on my prints that make it kinda look crappy. The quality other than these is superb and I am absolutely ...

Re: Extruder Skipping - Failed Prints
Pretty rock solid at 235c and rock solid at 90c on the bed at the same time. Drives pretty easy, doesn't seem to be struggling.

Re: Extruder Skipping - Failed Prints
Like I said, it prints partially, and the partial print looks great so idk. I thought that maybe, but I'm a little scared to go over 235c cause the PEEK breaks at 245c right? Although I understand that if it's reading the temp wrong it won't hurt it, but how do I find out for sure? I have no idea ...

Re: Extruder Skipping - Failed Prints
I'm running at 235c. Is that too hot?
It takes a decent amount of effort, not impossible but semi difficult.

Extruder Skipping - Failed Prints
Hello everyone, My romax v2 keeps failing prints at random locations. Sometimes it gets further than other times, either way, it always fails. I've only gotten one successful print out of it since I bought it and that was the peek fan shroud (very frustrating). Anyways, I can hear and see the ...

Re: No lcd display and failed eeprom_clear
Here are some pictures. Not the tidiest wiring job. I was going to clean it up once it was working.. Tested with the lcd unplugged, made no difference. My wiring should be right, I went off of several online sources and followed the manual and all that, but maybe you guys see something I don't. Also ...

Re: No lcd display and failed eeprom_clear
F2, f3, and f4 fuses all read fine. No led when powered but flashing green light every 5 seconds or so when attempting to upload the eeprom_clear code, which fails each time. Installing Linux on a computer to try again. Tested on Windows 10 and Windows 8.1. See if it makes a difference. Tested fuse ...

Re: No lcd display and failed eeprom_clear
Hmm.. No led when powered on, but like you say, it's getting power because the fan kicks on. Power plug looks fine and I double checked to make sure I had the wiring correct.
How do I check the f2 fuse? I'm looking at it, but how do I tell if it's bad or not?

Re: No lcd display and failed eeprom_clear
Apologies, I meant to say literally nothing is displayed on the lcd. Meaning not even the black bars. It doesn't power on at all.
As for the led on the Rambo, I'm not sure where it is located, but I don't see anything light up when it turns on.

No lcd display and failed eeprom_clear
Recently finished putting together my romax v2. Made sure everything was plugged in right and hit the power switch. The fan for the powersupply and the Rambo board kick on, but the lcd stays off, like no power is going to it. I then tried to do the eeprom_clear. My computer recognizes the device and ...
