First multipart 3d print of my own design. 1/4 inch dowel rod peice of "wood" to hold true to it's roots. And needs a lead weight that I will cast on the circular platter. So to confirm you ARE suppose to cut the 14" from the 8' piece. Thanks guys for a quick responce.

Thanks Eaglezsoar, they replied via support ticket. Turns out you ARE suppose to cut the 14" hotbead wire from the 8' of wire.

14" of 18ga hotbed power wires?
In regards to the Rostock MAX v2 Assembly Guide – 4thEd. Section 4 – Preparing the Onyx Heated Bed page 38. It calls for 14" of 18ga hotbed power wires. This was not included in the kit an not in the packing lists. Am I to assume that I am suppose to cut it from the 8' of the 18ga wire for the hot en ...

Hi I am an EE from Broken Arrow Oklahoma, just got started on the Rostock Max V2 build. First 3d printer, Second cnc. I built my own 3d router a few years ago and use it all the time. Thanks again for having me.
