Wear and Tear on the 8 pin connector of the HE280
Hey guys, does anyone have a solution if the connector on the HE280 PCB comes loose over time? I've been getting print after print frozen midway on my primary V3, and the other two V3's that I work on are starting to show the same issue. It seems that over time, the female terminal block on the ...

Re: Possessed Printer
I doubt it, since it was over an hour into the print before it failed there.Jimustanguitar wrote:Does that dip in temp between 21-26 minutes correspond with when your cooling fans came on?

Possessed Printer
So my printer has been having some strange issues lately (refusing to start a print, random heater decouples hours into prints, noisy and jagged temperature curves, etc.). I tried PID recalibration, messing with retraction settings, and the good 'ol power cycle. Anyway, I start a print last night ...

Re: Rostock Max V2 unable to hold temperature during raft
Sorry if I am necro-ing an old thread. Printer is finally up, almost a year and a half after ordering. We suspect that the incorrectly set power supply fried some power delivery or control capacity on the RAMBO. Anyway, we replaced it with a smoothieboard, and a different power supply. I do have to ...

Re: HE280 Keeps mysteriously clogging
Well, It was the barrel fan after all. Upon receiving the new fan, it had a lot less slop and was a lot quieter than the original fan. Once I installed it, it extruded fine (Although I'm still tracking down retraction issues). It was also bought to my attention that the installed fan had had a ...

Re: HE280 Keeps mysteriously clogging
It's also possible that the nozzle itself is partially clogged by foreign debris. Throw a different nozzle into it and see if the problem goes away. g. I've thrown 3 new nozzles on it with no results. It seems like shoving a guitar string through helps it a bit, but it quickly returns to clogging ...

HE280 Keeps mysteriously clogging
I've been having the strangest behavior with one of my HE280s recently. No matter what I do, it seems to clog repeatedly, lasting scarcely a print before failing. At temperature, the filament goes through smoothly at first, but clogs quickly and becomes hard to bush through. After a cold pull, the ...

Re: Rostock Max V2 unable to hold temperature during raft
Is that when the fans turn on? Yeah. I've tried printing with and without fans on and with fans off it gets past the raft but fails once it gets to the part. It looks like it's just jamming because there's inadequate heat, but I just can't explain why the printer refuses to provide the heat ...

Rostock Max V2 unable to hold temperature during raft
So I manage 3 Rostock max V2s and one of them has been giving me problems for about a month now. It heats up to temperature OK and completes the first layer of the raft but as soon as it starts printing layers 2-4 of the raft the temperature plummets and the raft looks like garbage before I get "def ...

Re: HE280 Temperature Calibration.
after doing M303 S200 PID autocalibrate, I've been getting values that are close to the firmware defaults anyway. However, mine doesnt work so
