Hello Tincho, sorry for the late reply. I've been having more issues with the printer (but got them all solved)
It is the same with lower retraction speeds.
I have 3 layer cooling fans.
Thanks

Heavy stringing between parts
Hello everyone, I have been trying to print some parts and I'm having major stringing between them. Included is a picture of some test cubes that demonstrate it more clearly. I'm printing with Orb Polymer's Blue Octopus 1.75mm PLA. My bed is at 60C and my hotend is at 185C. I have the MAX v2 printer ...

Re: Having Retraction issues
250mm/s did not turn out good, bumps on the outside all over the place (Don't have pics, I took off build plate before I thought to take pics *facepalm*)
Looks like 200mm/s is about as good as I can get.. I might try lower, like 100mm/s.

Here are some pics with 200mm/s on the "non-print moves" setting: http://prntscr.com/dglur1 http://prntscr.com/dglv6m This is a pic on 15mm/s: http://prntscr.com/dgob29 As you can see, it's still stringing. Changing it to 15mm/s made the strings thicker and more numerous. The PLA material used is ...

Re: Having Retraction issues
So decrease retract speed to 15mm/s? Or drop it down in 10mm/s increments until it works?

Re: Modded Rostock MAX v2 "Orangesicle"
Sorry for not posting at all, been busy, and I come back to my printer and everytime I try to print the hotend platform keeps hitting the Y axis tower. So I redid the whole calibration process and that fixed it. Going to try to print the tool caddies again..

Re: Printing with ABS - A Primer
2+ layers of heavy duty aluminum foil in a circle under the glass will work if you can't get actual aluminum sheets.
Hope this helped,

Re: Modded Rostock MAX v2 "Orangesicle"
The brackets I am talking about above are to hold the tool caddy I posted a link to in another post (in this thread) so that it can fit on a v2 MAXAureus wrote:I made the brackets: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1234402
