If you dont have the time to dedicate to build and calibrate the rostock then i would go with a prebuilt.
The rostock max loves to have your attention and before you know it 6 hours will have gone by without you realizing it :)

No just a full time paramedic student that overspent my budget just trying to make it till August when I graduate. And no I wouldn't part this out it is a fully functional and fully calibrated machine I spent two months getting just right and finally have it dialed in I couldn't bear to disassemble ...

no i bought it and just opened the package to install it i bought two of them and both of them would not work
so im guessing since the 40mm worked with the same wiring i received two bad fans?

i put the white on negative and black and red on positive

Im trying to add a fan to the hotend but cant get it to turn on i have plugged it into the fan port next to the hotend.
Im using marlin for rostock max rambo LCD
any help would be appreciated

and all i know is the smooth bar offset fixed my doming problem which is what john and steve told me to do and it worked :)

it is how you adjust for dip or bow in the middle of the bed i would get the xy and z rails calibrated perfect then go back to the middle and it would be too high just like op's problem so i called seeme and they told me about smooth bar offset and it fixed my problem Im not the best at trying to ...

also i have mhackney's aluminum build plate and its awesome I spray it with hairspray and print right on the aluminum plate with no problems

i had the same problem you had and about went crazy before i called seemecnc I had to change the delta smooth bar offset I added 0.1 and releveled the bed you might have to do this many times before its perfect but adjust 0.1 at a time and recheck. Also at if you changed your steps to 106.67 there ...

i agree with you on the searching for answers most of the time i search a problem on the forum it says the search is too common so its like digging for a needle in a haystack to find an answer to a problem. I find the best thing is pm'ing the people that have been around the longest in the forums ...

so i figured out why mine was showing white boxes the genes manual says to cut off the strain relief on the connectors and i did the first time and it wasnt getting pushed onto the board all the way because the wires were going into the connector too far so they couldnt be pushed onto the board all ...

LCD screen white boxes

Im using Arduino 1.5.2 and using the Repetier firmware
I have uploaded to my board and the lcd screen just shows white boxes
do i have to change anything in the program to get it to work?
i have seen other posts on this but no solution

ok so it uploads now because i completely removed it and reinstalled everything do i have to change the steps to 16 or is it already done in the software not sure if its updated or not what all do i have to change in polygonhells firmware to get it to work on my rostock max also my lcd screen just ...
