Could anybody with a Rostock Max with the a He280 head using Simplify3D share their settings? PETG/ABS/PLA, any of them. Trying to really dial my machine in but having trouble with all the variables in the software. Is there a source online that has profiles for the various printing software titles ...

HE280 Upgrade print calibration issues
Rostock Max V2 with new HE280 Hot end, printing ABS, trying to dial it in. Receiving blobs on prints. Playing around with retraction, not moving forward. Any suggestions or settings? Thanks!

I tried flipping around the LCD connections and still no luck. I tried unplugging the HE280's connector and the system still does not work. I checked the fuses and all are ok. Any other suggestions, really appreciate the help, Thanks.

I recently upgraded my hot end (HE280) on my Rostock Max V2. Upon powering it up for the first time, My LCD does not power on. In opening it up I noticed there is no Red LED illuminated which if I remember correctly was on the actual RAMBO board. My new hot end is receiving power though, Blue LEDs ...

Rostock Max V2, Matter Control, MatterSlice Trying to really dial this machine in and making some progress. Thought leveling was great and finally dialed in but noticed in printing a larger object the top right area is off. The extrusion head is getting too close in that area. How do I resolve this ...

Sorry for the long delay in replying as I've not been near my printer for some time. Extrusion multiplier worked great. I saved it to my presets for that particular filament going forward. Thanks

Agreed, I believe it was a slicing problem. I did 4 prints and they all split and looked exactly the same in error before resolving it by just switching to Cura.

Thanks CR! Got a pretty decent print using Cura, all in tact, no splits. Weird thing was when I tried using Slic3r it would just say error. Wonder whats up with that.

Thanks for the reply. Still learning where everything is. Tried playing with the numbers in this window, only saw retract option and no prime. Andy idea on presets or should I look in another menu?

Splitting Issue
Hell all, just starting to finally start printing on my Rostock Max V2. Having an odd issue with splitting. Looks like it's right where it moves onto the next layer and does the next pass. ABS filament, Bed 88, Extruder 233. MatterControl set on quality Fine. And ideas? Thanks.
