Why both "Eccentric cams" and "spacers" ?

Hi, i'd like to know the reason why there is "eccentric cams" as well as "spacers" in the assembling of the cheapskate bearings (section 16). It's my first 3d printers and i just spent quite some time around these. I was using the "spacers" in the first assembled carriage, then ran out of them in ...

Re: Reinforcing prints with "sandwiched" fibers

Thank you for your answers, i had the same doubts but i wasn't sure, being new to the world of 3d printing. I still have a theory in mind (in regard to the shape of the fiber) and i'll test it when my printer is here and ready to print. I'll publish the results here, good or bad. Who know, we could ...

Please ...

Re: dmlonestar - Rostock build

Darn, i feel sorry for you! ! I've worked with acrylic a few times in the past and it has the nasty habit of cracking/snapping  . That's one of the reason why i didn't ordered mine with this material, even if it look really great. Better glue it pretty FAST, before the crack get worse ...

Thank you for the good words! I didn't asked for UPS, but USPS, so i don't know how it will go. UPS rates and after charges are usually out of my reach anyway :)..

Its official, the rostock max is my first. Just ordered mine :)! I'm somewhat nervous about the 300mm glass going into the mail thought.
