Thanks, I have no luck with forum search functions. I'm torn about which way to go- I find myself wanting mag-arms because of their zero-slop tendencies, but at the same time I'm sort of leery about them because a good smack will dislodge them.

Hello, all. I really don't know if this is where I should put this or not, but in a nutshell, I ended up with a Geeetech sort of Kossel-Rostock bastard child with 200mm delta arms. If we switched to a magball system like we have for some of the delta arms, we'd be golden. And I figured 12 arms was implied. Yeah, the hardware and software would be hard. I printed this design, I really like it but with my e3d v6 it is too close to the heater block and it started to droop/melt. I even printed it in ABS....may have to try it in Nylon or something higher temp... You could try putting a small layer of aluminum foil or something on top of it as a heat ...
