Heater issues
I have two issues currently in regards to the hot end. First: When I have a print running, if I bump the temp up (ie. from 210 to 215) I get a heater fault error that the temp has risen faster than 0.7C/second. It doesn't overshoot the temp, and I ran the PID auto-tune per the manual and tuned to ...

Lots of stringing
Hey everyone, Since I have upgraded to the HE280 on my V2, I have had an issue with lots of stringing. I have tried tweaking my slicer settings but it seems that no matter what I do they are still there. I have attached some of my slicer settings below. I am printing with eSun Pla Pro. Their ...

I see they merged the dev firmware with the master branch. Not sure if this was the updates mhackney was talking about.

Re: Adjusting first layer
Here is an update after working to get the x/y/z values as close to 0. This is the same file I had printed earlier that had the low spot between the x and z axis.

Re: Adjusting first layer
Hmm, this is interesting. I will have to check and see what my values are and try to get them as close to 0 and see what the results are.

The good thing is, at least for what I am printing, it hasn't had a negative effect.

Re: Adjusting first layer
After setting it to 0 it is working much better. Just have a spot between the x and z axis that is too close to the bed.

Just wanted to add in, I am seeing a similar issue on my v2 with the he280 installed. I am getting an extremely thin first layer between the z and x axis.

Re: Adjusting first layer
I think I figured out the issue. The Simplify3D profile I was using had a z-offset set to -0.15mm, and was causing the nozzle to be too close to the bed. Testing it now without the z-offset.

Adjusting first layer
I have a Rostock v2 with the HE280 upgrade and after running the calibration the first layer is so squished nothing is extruding. Is there a way to adjust the calibrated height the autocalibration sets?

Troubleshooting a print issue
I am seeing an issue on my prints in some places that almost seems like over-extrusion. This is happening in some area's, and on this print it is when the printer starts extruding after (what I am assuming is) a retraction. I am attaching a picture of the print, along with the gcode. This was sliced ...

Re: Rostock Max v3 settings for Simplify3D
Do these lower retraction settings work well for PLA as well? I know before the upgrade the default in S3D was around 8mm.

Re: Lines in print after HE280 upgrade
Tried another print, this one is using the same eSun PLA pro, but instead of printing at 205 I upped it to 215. Below are all 4 sides of the hollow square.
