Re: Print head hits bed in some prints

I'm having a very similar issue myself, net fab shown no errors and the part prints fine at half scale but when I print it full size the head will crash the bed after the first couple of layers... my log shows several errors that reads invalid delta coordinate move ignored.... Re: Hot end temp drops after starting of print

I switched the resistor on the hot end to a cartridge, not only did it fix the problem but it heats a little faster...

Odd thing is my Kossel heats up 3 times as fast with a 7 dollar monitor power supply (not using heated bed on max)

Re: Hot end temp drops after starting of print

I check the wiring, I do have inline connectors and I replaced a suspect one, but issue still remains, Doesn't to that from SD card or pronterface..
under the printer setting and connection, that do you have for reset on connect?

You ever try the magnets?

Temperature always 1 deg. short of target

I have a makerfarm hot end and no matter what temp I set it too, the hot end comes up about 1-2 deg. short, keeping the printer from starting the print. I have ran the pid tune several times and even though the exact thermistor isn't shown on the tables I have tried the common ones.. Isn't there a ...

Re: Ez extruder slipping

I think I found the problem. I switched to a different hot end and it still had some kaptan tape on the peek, which must have been blocking some of the air from the peek fan causing clogging which in turn caused extruder issues..
