Re: Greetings from NH
I was finally able to replace the fan and the fuse today. I tried to print but found that the tube was molten, similar to flynnguy. So I trimmed the tube too. However, just before the printing was about to start, I get DEF in the temperatures. Both fan and fuse are gone again! The fan I replaced is ...

Re: Greetings from NH
Were you able to sort out all your issues? I'm having similar problems as yours. The fan seems to have died which then most likely blew the thermal fuse! Before that, I was having problems with filament getting stuck in the hotend or the extruder slipping on the filament and not pushing them enough ...

Re: hotend clogged - how to clean
Thanks Polygonhell. Here is basically what I did and it seems to be good now. 1. clean outside by using a piece of discarded printed stuff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sfui0c3jXGc 2. clean the hotend hole using a thin wire similar to guitar string (while the hotend is around 210) 3. and finally ...

hotend clogged - how to clean
Hi everyone, In a middle of printing with PLA, I noticed the filament had clogged the hotend. I tried pushing the filament but it is not going forward at all. How can I clean the hotend? Do I need to disassemble the hot end or can I use some sort of needle to clear the clog? Thanks in advance. -AT

Re: Multi color mod kit?
This is the hotend I currently have https://www.seemecnc.com/collections/parts-accessories/products/he280-hotend-with-accelerometer-probe . I was thinking about adding one more extruder like this https://www.seemecnc.com/collections/parts-accessories/products/ezrstruder and replacing just the hotend ...

Re: Multi color mod kit?
Thanks for the reply morgandc and mhackney. mhackney, The stuff you made looks cool! Could you please point me in right direction on where I can find any info/direction on how I can go about adding additional extruders and mixers? Do I need special things to replace the existing hotend with cyplops ...

Re: Issue with calibration
Some update for anyone else who may encounter similar issues. I printed this test object from this link: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1363023 WP_20161012_22_14_59_Pro.jpg The printout was flipped horizontally (mirror image). So I swap the Z and X stepper motor connections instead and it is ...

Re: Issue with calibration
That solved the problem!!! I swap x and z end stop connectors!
When the end stop in the X tower is pressed it shows High for Z end stop and vice versa! I'm fine with it as long as it works.
Thank a lot guys!!!

Re: Issue with calibration
Thanks geneb and mhackney for the suggestion. I had checked each of them one at a time to make sure each of them were working. I didn't pay attention to see if the right axis had the value changed from L to H. I'll verify that and try to swap the connections.
Thank you,

Re: Issue with calibration
I'm using the 2 outer leads as shown in the step 3 in this page: http://seemecnc.dozuki.com/Guide/Step+3+-+Top+Assembly/43 The picture I've attached is not very clear. 2 of the outer leads are bend. The white and black wires are connected to those 2 leads and the middle lead is straight up and not ...

Re: Issue with calibration
I have the flat head screw and it does click when it is pressed against the end stop. I use MatterControl->Settings & Controls->Options->Show Terminal and type the commands there. When none of the screw heads are touching the end stops then this is the output from M119 command : x_max:L y_max:L z ...

Re: Issue with calibration
Hi mhackney,
It is a new build.
Home does the same thing. All 3 axis move up and then start to grind once it reach the top.
Thanks,
Athapa

Issue with calibration
Hi, I'm having problem calibrating using the gcode file mentioned in this page http://seemecnc.dozuki.com/Guide/Step+6%3A+Calibrating+the+Rostock+MAX+v3/51 When I print that file using MatterControl, all 3 axis try to go past the end stops and they start to grind! I've verified that all 3 end stops ...
