Thank you so much for these files! They're very valuable.

Quick question: are the settings in the Rostock MAX v3 profile the same for the v3.2 upgrade?

Re: What are the benefits of upgrading my Rostock Max V3 to a V3.2

I'm sorry to necro this thread, but thought that was better than starting a new one for the same topic. Does all of the feedback here still apply, two years later? Is it worth upgrading from v3 to v3.2? Also, I'm pretty confused about the upgrade kit (link below). Does SeeMeCNC no longer sell it ...

Simplify3D Settings

Would any kind soul be willing to share their Simplify3D settings? At this point I'm throwing darts at the wall with regard to retraction, etc. and would love to use someone else's common settings as a base.

Re: Battling Cobwebs

Quick update; I got a cobweb-free result after upping the retraction distance to 3.0. Hopefully that's the solution.

Battling Cobwebs

My prints are so close to perfect, but I'm still seeing some light cobwebby stringing between towers. cobwebs.jpg I have spent a lot of time on this forum gathering best practices (thanks, everyone). Here is a list of things I've done: Lowered retraction distance from S3D's 6.5mm recommendation ...

Re: Calibration process: what happens when you calibrate multiple times?

mhackney, thank you very very much for your detailed answer. It helped my results. Am I to understand, then, that it is futile to run G29 more than once? Why would you ever use a wire brush on your bed? Even glass can get severely scratched with brass wire. What I meant to say was, "Wipe the bed ...

Calibration process: what happens when you calibrate multiple times?

I have seen some guides that recommend running calibration (G29) 3-5 times. What happens when you run calibration a second time? Does it completely replace the previous values? Does it do some sort of weighted adjustment, dialing in? What if you do the delta calibration from geneb's Octoprint plugin ...

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration

Does running the calibration script (or G29) multiple times do anything? What exactly does repeating the calibration do?

Do successive calibrations build on each other's values or replace previous values?

Re: P003A HE280 [Solved?] Auto Leveling Issue/Bed Leveling Issue/Calibration

I'm still really struggling with this bed leveling/calibration issue. I have tried adjusting temps, several calibrations, decreasing the probe radius, using only 3 clips, using washers on the bed clips, etc. and it still seems like it's printing on a slant.
