Re: Repetier 091 for Rostock MAX now available
Hey everyone, don't tell G I bought a lotto ticket after moving over to .91 and recalibrating the towers/z-height. .91 has been great to me so far. The UI along with added smoothness is definitely better and worth the upgrade. The only problem I have is the EEPROM pull up crashing in the ...

The fact that there are EFI to carb/dizzy kits out there defines the market perfectly.626Pilot wrote:I theorize car people think about cars with the same circuitry they use to think about politics and religion. So, good luck.

Re: Smoothie-ware
I've been playing with this beauty for a bit in hopes to use it in multiple projects, one being a media center streaming box that plays 1080p (simple start, I know): http://www.andahammer.com/t1-nanopc/ Like others are saying on here, I want as much horsepower as I can get for the money. Just the ...

Re: Ordering from the site... No shipping options
G, To explain the story some more, I was about 6 hours into an 8 hour print and out of the blue, I lost the temps on both the hot end and the bed, so the Rostock went into dry mode. Upon further diagnosis, one of the legs of the hot end thermistor ripped out, which to be quite honest, I was not ...

Re: Ordering from the site... No shipping options
John,
I just tried it again, this time logging in instead of as guest, and the shipping options show up now. Sorry about that.
Oh, and does a new nozzle come with the PTFE liner? It looks like I ripped mine trying to clean up after a broken thermistor...

Ordering from the site... No shipping options
Hey guys,
Thought I was throw this up and see if it's just a bug or something. The only option I am getting for shipping is pickup. I've got a couple of upgrades I am looking at and it would be nice to order. Thanks!

PID Auto-tune the Onyx?
Hey guys, I have been looking around for mention of an M-code for PID autotuning the Onyx. I'm running Repetier .80 Firmware and noticed that there are EEPROM values for the Bed PID and was wondering if there is any autotuning for them. Thanks! Current EEPROM values: 20:09:06.432 : EPR:3 108 15.00 ...

Re: Wiring the Power from the Onyx to the RAMBO
Alright, after de-mounting the RAMBO and looking at the screw terminals, I was able to fit both 18ga wires in the terminal together without twisting. That was the trick. Thanks.

Wiring the Power from the Onyx to the RAMBO
Hey guys. I am so close to boot time and got stuck. I couldn't find anyone who soldered up two 18ga wire sets to the Onyx that then connected the two groups straight to the RAMBO. Am I supposed to twist the two sets together and use the single channel on the RAMBO, or can I use all three heat ...

Re: Looking for a 3D Printer
Oh no, a DSM guy. Just kidding. ;) The way I see it, there is a lot of cool design bits to this kit. I will agree, the u-joints are a bit on the goofy side with the sanding and fit. I was actually looking at swapping in some heim joints like these in their place: http://www.mcmaster.com/#cadinlnord ...

A Rostock Max in the Good Ol' South
Hey guys. I received my Rostock Max a couple of weeks ago and am almost finished with the build. Outside of the bolt to bearing clearances on the extruder, everything has been coming together smoothly. I'd like to go ahead and throw out a thanks to geneb, mhackney, and the guys at SeeMeCNC for ...

Re: Cassetti's black Rostock MAX build
Cassetti,
From the looks of it, you ended up using the longer screws when installing the idler rollers in the base here:

Just thought I would give you a heads up on it while I was browsing.
