Re: What is your experience with the HE280 hotend?
I was very unsuccessful with the HE280. I would not recommend it. I ended up upgrading to the e3d v6 volcano and it is 10x better.

Re: High spots between towers.
One question though, what does Harblar mean by "I then checked the width of the washers under the spider plate. 4 were right at 4mm and 2 were right at 3.87. I spread the 4mm ones across from each other and put the spider plate and heatbed back on." ? Good to know you are you sure you do not have ...

Re: How to fix, is this Stringing?
Where do I go from here? From what I have read on this subject, and am going through as well; a lot of stringing is a result of a jam in the hotend. Are you sure your bowden tube is seated all the way? Heat the hotend up to 100C then pull the tube out and if you have a "hockey puck" of filament ...

Re: HE 280 bowden tube seating
I'm in the same boat as you. I think the bowden tube goes about 1.7" into the heatsink. I seat the tube fully then circle the top with sharpie and pull it out. I cannot solve my problem with my hot end jamming either. Every time I take it out after a test print there is a "hockey puck" of material ...

Re: High spots between towers.
I' ve been having leveling issues that I cannot fix either. I have probably printed over 100 of these disks http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?t=7361 trying to get a perfect first layer. When I print the 2mm disk, I am always lacking material in the XY half of the circle and over extruding ...

Re: New Rostock Max V3! Let the Calibrations Begin
so I pulled the bowden tube to test the motor alone. Lo and behold this is what the filament looked like coming out of the hot end: I wish your photos worked, I ...

This is a guide I have used for tuning. It has to do with your retraction settings.

Re: LCD reset when heating hot end
Skyjuice, I think I am having similar problems to you! In case you didn't know, you can email MatterHackers support for an additional opinion. To be fair SeeMe's support has been more helpful but less responsive (for every SeeMe support response I get 3 responses from M.H.). I began assembling this ...
