Re: E3D V4 All metal hotend
I just received my E3D today and I'll be putting together when I get home tonight. I have the bowden adapter they sell on order but won't get it for a week or two. For those of you already using an E3D, did you need to print an adapter to connect your filament line to the hotend? This is the best ...

I've been playing with Impact Resistant High temp crystal ABS lately. Man this stuff is tough! Had a hell of a time getting good prints with it too. Until I discovered the min temp for extrusion with it is 260c ranging up to 280c. So fairly high temps for ABS. But not typical ABS either. Extremely ...

Re: First print with mag arms and j head..
not yet, i was undecided whether or not i was going to sell off my rostocks and parts, but for now seems like im going to hold on to them. I got it assembled but in my testing the jbweld used to hold the spheres to the screws weren't strong enough even after careful prepping. I need to go find some ...

Hi All, Sanjay from E3D here. It's really awesome to see our part riding on a delta-bot, and as far as I can see the first delta bots running E3D hotends were you guys. :D Glad you are all having a good time with the hotend (mostly - in a good conversation with PolygonHell, he is getting a ...

Re: Southern Cal Delta Printer User's Group
It's time to see if we can form a crew of delta printer enthusiasts in Southern Cal. If you're in LA or south, post a reply here or DM me your contact info. I've got one other person (a famous Delta modder) so at a minimum. If we don't have enough, maybe a Google hangout... Anyway, if you're ...

The ease of disassembling this set up provides is phenomenal. It is so much easier to disassemble the hot end and effector with it connected to magnets. I highly recommend this set up.

I will be giving this filament a try. Sounds promising. Hopefully it doesn't crack as easily as regular ABS.Flateric wrote:Here's a link to the high impact crystal filament I referred to.

What do you guys think would be best filament for AR15 parts
I am wondering what type filament would be best for printing AR15 parts. Like the Lower, Magazine, Grip, forward grip, picatinny rails. I was looking at ABS Plus or looking for an PC/ABS blend. Nylon 618,645 is not good, has too much elasticity. Is there a place where one can place special orders on ...

Check those cams, make sure they are tight. I had the same problems cause I forgot to tighten down the Cams. Once tight cheapskates were firm, no wiggle.

This invention not only improves print quality dramatically, but it also elongates the life of the Rambo board due to it's smooth, minimal friction, movement. Motors don't get so hot cause they are working against so much less friction. Well worth the upgrade and cheap to acquire too.

FIRST PRINT.jpg First print. Looking good!!! How difficult was it to JB weld the Balls to the cap screws? Not hard at all. If the ball is sitting on the rod end with the magnet inside, the magnetism holds the cap screw to the ball. I kind of twisted the cap screws upside down into the JB weld to ...
