Thanks for the insight guys. I put my dampers in when I was initially building my RMv2 as I had seen them recommended. I decided it would be easier to do it from the beginning rather than after the fact. If the difference in quality isn't that great I won't go to the trouble of removing them as I am ...

Thanks for the update mate. It was an interesting read. I am considering upgrading my arms to CF tubes but I'm scared that I am going to cause myself more headache than it is worth.

That's a very elegant solution.

How do you run them in series to get 24V?

Says 36A max. 24x1.2 = 28.8A used by my heated bed alone if I convert to 24V with an SSR.

Thank you for all of your replies. Unfortunately I still haven't been able to address this issue. I don't know much about firmware but is it possible that while upgrading the firmware one of the settings pertaining to the LCD display may have changed over the years that is specific to a different ...

Garbled text on LCD screen

Hi all, After updating my firmware from Repetier 0.91 to 0.92.2 the LCD screen text becomes garbled every now and again. The only way to get it to display correctly after this happens is to either repeatedly disconnect/connect Repetier Host until it decides to display correctly or turn the power off ...
