Re: Continuos Liquid Interface (CLIP)
Here is a source for some bags that are pretty cheap, $10 for 50, and it looks like one side has no print on it. http://www.ebay.com/itm/50-7-X-10-Ultimate-Breather-Bags-KORDON-ALTERNATIVE-/301685756116?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item463ddf50d4 I think it would be pretty simple to make a jig to ...

Re: Continuos Liquid Interface (CLIP)
Have any of you considered trying a cheap alternative, like this? http://www.sigmaaldrich.com/catalog/product/sigma/z380059?lang=en®ion=US or this? http://www.kordon.com/kordon/products/aquarium-pond-accessories-2/breathing-bags#suppliers! I'm sure they won't last as long, but they are pretty ...

Re: Z-Axis getting knocked off?
Ah, okay! I pulled the belts off, which were all just fine, but the pulley over time slowly drifted, so the gear was not aligned with the belt completely. I straightened it out, and it works great... so far! Thanks for the help!
Thanks!
Thanks!

Z-Axis getting knocked off?
Hey everybody, I've been struggling with this for a few weeks now.... My belts are all uniformly the same tension, bolts are all tight.... I am at a loss. All that I can think of is a belt is slipping? Do I need to replace some belts? Also.... is there a standard tension for the belts? I'm not sure ...

Slic3r 0.9.9 vs KISSlicer?
I have heard from the top guys that KISSlicer is the way to go, due to illogical paths which Slic3r 0.9.8 was making. It seems like 0.9.9 completely fixed this problem, and more! I was about to install and figure out KISSlicer as a replacement, but noticed the Slic3r 0.9.9 update and installed it ...

Re: X-Y and Z actual movement
Oh thanks! I forgot to change that. Would changing the steps/mm motor settings be equivalent to changing that though? Or would that bypass cause additional problems?

X-Y and Z actual movement
Hello everybody, For my new Rostock Max (first printer!), after much trial and error, I am stumped and would appreciate any help! My X-Y movement and Z movement are not scaling correctly. I first began comparing the actual movement of the head vs what I tell it to move in Repetier. For example, I ...

I graduate in a few short weeks with my BS in Mechanical Engineering. My Rostock MAX is scheduled to be here tomorrow! Being ...
